How to Give Designeo Access to Meta Business Suite

Before we can start running ads on your behalf, we need access to a few key assets inside your Meta Business Suite — your ad account, Facebook page, Instagram account, and tracking pixel. This guide walks you through exactly how to grant that access using Meta’s Partner system, which is the industry-standard method for connecting a business with an agency.

The entire process takes about five minutes, and you stay in full control the entire time.

Why We Use Partner Access (Not People Access)

Meta offers two ways to share access:

1. adding someone as a Person (individual user) or,
2. adding an agency as a Partner (business-to-business).

We use Partner Access because it’s more secure and more professional. Access is tied to Designeo as a company, not to one individual’s personal Meta account. If a team member changes on our side, we handle it internally, and you never have to redo anything. You also maintain a clearer separation between your business and ours inside your settings.

What You’ll Need Before You Start

Make sure you have the following ready before you begin:

• Admin access to your company’s Meta Business Suite at business.facebook.com
• Designeo’s Business ID: 795804875711880

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Go to business.facebook.com/settings and log in with the account that owns your business page and ad account.
2. In the left sidebar under Users, click Partners.
3. Click the blue Add button, then select Give a partner access to your assets.
4. Enter Designeo’s Business ID: 795804875711880 and click Next.
5. You’ll now see a list of your assets. Select each asset you’d like us to manage and assign the access levels listed in the table below.
6. Click Save Changes. Access is granted immediately, no invitation to accept. We’ll see your assets appear in our Business Suite right away.

Permissions to Enable

When you reach the asset selection screen in Step 5, please assign the following access for each asset:

Can you see my personal Facebook profile?

No. Partner access only exposes the specific business assets you share — your page, ad account, pixel, and Instagram. Your personal profile, messages, and friend list are never visible to us.

What’s the difference between adding a Partner and adding a Person?

Adding a Person ties access to one individual’s personal Meta account. Adding a Partner connects two businesses together at the organizational level. The Partner method is more secure because if a team member leaves our agency, we revoke their access on our end — you don’t have to do anything.

What if I have multiple ad accounts or pages?

When assigning permissions, you can choose exactly which ad accounts and pages to share. You don’t have to grant access to everything — just the ones we’ll be managing.

Can I remove your access later?

Absolutely. Go to Settings → Partners, find Designeo, and click Remove. Access is revoked immediately.

What if I don’t see the Partners option?

You likely don’t have admin-level access to the Business Suite. Ask whoever originally set up the account to either grant you admin access or follow these steps themselves.

Do I need to pay for anything to set this up?

No. Meta Business Suite is completely free. The only costs are the ad spend itself once campaigns go live.
